The Saunders at Rye Harbor 10K will be held on August 15, 2013 The course will remain the same as last year, and Yes! The Race is a proud member of the Seacoast Road Race Series. Yes! There will be a Competetive Walker class. Yes! It will probably be HOT. Yes! You still have to win a T-Shirt! Yes! The same great refreshments will await you after your run. Yes! There will be cash prizes for the really fleet of foot in all racing classes. Yes! Registration will be available on line this year ( or the “Old School” way - by paper)!! ON LINE REGISTRATION OPENS ON MARCH 1, 2013 AT 12:01 AM ON LINE REGISTRATION CLOSES ON AUGUST 14, 2013 AT 12 NOON Be sure to look for local author, KD Mason and say Hello. His series of four locally set murder mysteries revolve around Jack Beale, who is both a runner and a sailor. Things happen in the town of Rye Harbor, and the trouble that follows has a way of finding and involving Jack and his close friend, Max, the feisty red-haired bartender at Ben’s Place. The fifth book in the series will be out later in the fall. All prize winner’s will receive a signed copy, of their choice, of one of his books. All of his books will be available for purchase at a special race day price and will be signed as well.
